About SingHaiyi Sells 102 units of Sora in Jurong Lake District. SingHaiyi Group, along with KSH Holdings and Ho Lee Group, successfully sold 102 units at Sora during the weekend of 5th and 6th July. This represents about 23% of the total 440 units for this 99 years leasehold condominium located in the Jurong Lake District along Yuan Ching Road.
During the weekend, 320 units were launched. The 1 Bedroom + Study units were the most popular, with over 80% sold. 2 Bedroom and 2 Bedroom + Study units were also in high demand.

The average selling price at Sora was S$2,160 psf. Ismail Gafoor from PropNex noted that this price is comparable to the nearby LakeGarden Residences, which has 306 units. The LakeGarden Residences, launched last year, sold 71 units on its first weekend at an average of S$2,120 psf. As of July 7, 2024, it has sold 141 units at an average price of S$2,127 psf. He also noted that interest in Sora came from outside the Western region. With only 30% of buyers from Jurong and Clementi. Many buyers were attracted by the development’s views, amenities, and the emerging urban hub in the Jurong Lake District.

About SingHaiyi Sells 102 units | Marcus Chu from ERA Singapore stated that 1 Bedroom + Study units (538 sqft) started at S$996,000, while 2 Bedroom units (646 sqft) were priced above S$1.305 million. According to Mark Yip from Huttons Asia, nearly 95% of the units sold were priced under S$2 million.
Both Sora and The LakeGarden Residences are situated close to the 90-hectare Jurong Lake Gardens. With Sora featuring a 300-meter frontage. Raymond Chia of SingHaiyi mentioned that more than half of the buyers are under 40, reflecting the rejuvenation of Jurong Lake District.

Another recent development in the Jurong Lake District is J’den, which has 368 units. Redeveloped from the former JCube mall, this 99-year leasehold condominium is directly linked to the Jurong East MRT Interchange. J’den sold 88% of its units during its launch weekend last November at an average price of S$2,451 psf. Currently, 91% of the units are sold at an average of S$2,459 psf.
Before J’den, J Gateway was launched in July 2013 with 738 units. Almost all units were sold within the first month at an average price of S$1,467 psf. Resale prices for J Gateway units have now exceeded S$2,000 psf.
