Siglap Residences is a new residential development that is set to change the skyline of Singapore. It is located along the Siglap Road within a well-established residential estate in district 15.
The site, which is highly sought, is in the Confirmed List of H2 2015 government land sales program. Its location is next to Victoria School and opposite Mandarin Gardens. It is also near Siglap MRT on Thomson-East Coast line that is set for completion in stages starting 2019.
Launched on November 26, 2015, for sale, the site can comfortably accommodate about 750 residential units. The tender for the 99-year leasehold site closed on January 14, 2016, at noon. The difference between the highest bidder and the second bidder was approximately 4% and 31% higher than the last bidder. A total of 8 bids were submitted.
The land spans an area of 19,309 sqm, with a GPR of 3.5, a gross floor area of 67,584 sqm and a building of 90m maximum. This magnificent residential complex is set to be fully completed and ready after a period of 60 months.
