On the other hand, units from Principal Garden was sold at SG$1,600 per square foot during the event.
In a recent interview with Anthony Wong, he said that 5 penthouses at Principal Garden were sold and only 4 more are left for those who are interested. The current general manager for marketing expressed his enthusiasm regarding the interest of the investors with all the different types of condominium units offered.
Because of the fast sales, Wong said that there would be 80 more units to be released soon to complete the 280-units preliminary launch. This includes the sought-after three-bedroom units that were considered as one of the fast selling type of investment for families looking for a bigger place to stay.
For one-bedroom units, the price actually starts at SG$770,000. On the other hand, a three-bedroom unit comes with a SG$1.7 million price tag. It was also recorded that almost 15 percent of the sales were from foreign investors.
Wong believes that the number of sales was equally divided among owner-occupiers and those who bought the units for the sake of investment.
One of the selling points of Principal Garden is its location. Being situated close to the Alexandra Park, it allows the occupants to reach the Central Business District and Singapore River via a connector. It includes various facilities for the future residents to enjoy including a gym, a bicycle facility, and infinity pool.
