While Hollywood has tons of award-giving bodies sought by the celebrities, Leaf Award is probably one of the highly prestigious awards that an architect and a real estate development could ever hoped for. As other properties in Singapore could only boast of their lush greenery and well-designed façade, there is a named that bagged the LEAF Certified Development title.
Adana @ Thomson recently became the awardee for the said category. Just by looking at the planned structures and design, there’s no doubt that it will be given the proper recognition. The landscaping that will soon envelope the whole area of the non-landed units will be filled with so much greenery starting from the bottom all the way to the rooftop.
The LEAF award judges were impressed with the proposed creepers that would be placed at the west part of the façade. This is to ensure that the residents can still enjoy the sun without feeling too hot. There will also be plenty of plants that will be linked between the ground and the roof as well. While this may look aesthetically pleasing, it would also serve as a functional gateway to the infamous Peirce Reservoir – an old popular reservoir in Singapore.
Other than that, Adana @ Thomson will also be the latest addition to the developments that are close to the Thomson line. The location is also perfect since the Marymount MRT is also within the vicinity as well. There are various expressways available to make travelling to different places more accessible.
Adana @ Thomson undeniably deserves the honor and the appreciation given by the judges from LEAF awards. It may perhaps set the bar among its competitions but the benchmark it made will truly enrich the green design and architecture particularly for the projects being planned in Singapore.
Adana @ Thomson will be launching soon with 2 / 3 / 4 bedroom unit types and residents will be able to enjoy the high ceiling of about 3.6 meters.
