In December 2016, there is a total of 367 private homes sold by the property developers. This was a 4.4% drop from 384 units that were sold during the same month back in 2015. The drop was largely attributed to the lack of new projects being launched.
A number of private projects were launched and some have performed tremendously well in terms of the number of sales they have so far reported. The Santorini is one such project that has really performed well with 26 of its total units being successfully sold off at a median price of $1,047 psf. Others that have also performed pretty well include Queens Peak with 25 units sold at a median price of $1,652 and Parc Riviera which had 22 units sold at $1,240 psf.
When it comes to the executive condo category, the month of December registered 213 units that were sold. Sol Acres was one such executive condo project that performed really well. It had 66 of its units sold out at an average price of $789 psf. Following closely in that category was The Terrace whose 33 units were sold for a median price of $790 psf. The Vales also performed well having 17 of its total units sold for a median price of $805 psf.
Other best-selling private projects that performed pretty well in the month of December 2016 are the Riverbank and The Alps Residences which had 17 and 16 units of their total units sold at a median price of $964 and $1020 psf respectively.
The Westwood Residences was also a good project in term of sales under the bestselling executive condo category. 17 of its total units of private homes sold were at a favorable price of $786 psf. The Visionaire also performed well under this category with 14 out of its total 330 units being sold successfully during the month of December at a median price of $814 psf.
